Logistics: Imported fruits can pass through the port in as fast as two hours
Late at night, a cargo flight loaded with mangosteen and other commodities imported from ASEAN countries landed at Huahu Airport. Two hours later, fresh mangosteen had left the Huahu Airport port, and five hours later, auto parts produced in Hubei had boarded the return flight. The next morning, mangosteen was placed on supermarket shelves, and exported industrial products entered factories in ASEAN countries. A busy night at the airport is a vivid portrayal of the economic and trade exchanges between Hubei and ASEAN-the trade volume between the two sides in the first quarter of this year reached 39.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 46.2%.
